ಚಿತ್ರದ ನಾಯಕ ಶಶಿಕುಮಾರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ನಾಯಕಿ ಸಿತಾರ ಇಬ್ಬರೂ ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿ ಮದುವೆಯಾಗಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.ಇಬ್ಬರಿಗೂ ಒಂದು ಹೆಣ್ಣುಮಗು ಜನಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.ಆದರೆ ಯಾವುದೋ ಅಪಘಾತದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಯಕಿ ಸಾವನ್ನಪ್ಪುತ್ತಾಳೆ.ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ನಾಯಕಿಯ ತಂದೆ ಮಗುವಿನ ಒಳಿತಿಗಾಗಿ ನಾಯಕನನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಮದುವೆಯಾಗುವಂತೆ ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.ನಾಯಕ ಎರಡನೇ ಮದುವೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಾನ ಎಂಬುದೇ ಈ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಕಥೆ.

A man and a woman fall in love and get married. Soon, she gives birth to a baby girl and dies due to childbirth complications, leaving the husband to take care of their daughter.
