ಚಿತ್ರದ ನಾಯಕ ಡಾ.ವಿಷ್ಣುವರ್ಧನ್ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿರುತ್ತಾನೆ. ನಾಯಕಿ ಸಿತಾರಾಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಾಗುತ್ತಾದೆ. ಬಡವೆಯಾದ ಅವಳನ್ನು ಮನೆಯವರನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಮದುವೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ. ನಾಯಕಿಯ ಅಣ್ಣಂದಿರಿಗೆ ಹಣಕೊಟ್ಟು ನಾಯಕ ನೆರವಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಆದರೆ ಹಣ ಬಂದ ತಕ್ಷಣ ನಾಯಕಿಯ ಅಣ್ಣಂದಿರು ಬದಲಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ. ನಾಯಕನನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ನಾಯಕಿಯ ಅಣ್ಣ ತಮ್ಮಂದಿರು ಜಗಳವಾಡಿ ದೂರಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಕೊನೆಗೆ ಏನಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬುದು ಈ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಕಥೆ.
