ಈ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಯಕ ವಿಷ್ಣುವರ್ಧನ್ ಗೆ ಆರು ಜನ ಹಾಗೂ ನಾಯಕಿ ಸುಮಿತ್ರಾಗೆ ಐದು ಜನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕಸ್ಮಿಕವಾಗಿ ಭೇಟಿಯಾದವರು ಪ್ರೀತಿಗೆ ಬೀಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಇವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳೀಗೆ ಇವರ ಮದುವೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಕೊನೆಗೆ ಇವರು ಹೇಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಮದುವೆಯಾದರು ಎಂಬುದು ಈ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಕಥೆ.
