அருணா(சாவித்திரி),வீட்டை விட்டு வெளியேறி எதிர்பாராமல் அசோக்(சிவாஜி கணேசன்),வீட்டில் தஞ்சமடைகிறார்,ஒருமுறை வெளியே செல்லும்போத்து சாவித்திரி வீட்டிலிருந்து மாமா (நம்பியார்),இழுத்துப் போகிறார்,இதை பார்த்த சிவாஜி கணேசன் காப்பாற்ற ஓடுகிறார்,அப்போது காரில் அடிபட்டு சுயநினைவை இழந்க்கிறார்,பின் ஒருமுறை ரோட்டியில் பத்மினியை விபத்தில் இருந்து காப்பாற்றுகிறார்,இருவரும் சிவாஜிகணேசனை விரும்புகிறார்கள்.

Ashok loses his memory in an accident while trying to save Aruna, where he meets Rupa, who likes him. Aruna comes back in his life but he fails to recognize her; both Rupa and Aruna try to win him over.
