విష్ణు,జై అలియాస్ టైగర్ అనే ఇద్దరు ప్రాణమిత్రులు.టైగర్ కు విష్ణు అంటే విపరీతమైన ప్రేమ.కానీ విష్ణు మాత్రం టైగర్ ని ఓ తలనొప్పిలా ఫీలవుతూంటాడు.ఇలా ఇద్దరూ ఎవరి అభిప్రాయాలతో వారు పెరిగి పెద్దవారైనా తర్వాత విష్ణు గంగ అనే యువతితో ప్రేమలో పడతాడు.ఆమె కాశి కి సంబంధించిన అమ్మాయి.ఆ ఊరిలో కులం కట్టుబాట్లు ఎక్కువగా ఉంటాయి.తమ కులం అమ్మాయి వేరే వారితో ప్రేమలో పడితే పరువు హత్యలుచేస్తుంటారు.అందులో భాగంగా విష్ణు నికూడా చంపేయటానికి ప్రయత్నిస్తారు.ఆ విషయం తెలుసుకున్న టైగర్ తన ప్రాణం కాపాడి అతన్ని రక్షించడానికి కాశి వస్తాడు.అక్కడ పరువు హత్యలను ఎలా ఎదిరిస్తాడు? వాళ్లిద్దరినీ ఎలా కలుపుతాడు? అనేదే కథాంశం.
